Location & General Information - The Meissner farm is located 2 miles east of Augusta, IL to Schuyler County Road 50E (Tower Road), then 2 miles south, or south of Augusta to the water tower curve, then 1 1/2 miles east. Pulaski Cemetery Rd borders the north side, Tower Rd borders the east, and Augusta Rd borders the south. It sells as one tract being 210 taxable acres with 200 acres tillable. Soil types include Timewell, Ipava, Clarksdale and Osco with a Productivity Index of 135. The farm sells with full farming rights for 2021. There are (2) 8,000-bu. grain bins with their use being reserved through the summer of 2021.

 

Terms of Sale - The farm will be sold on a price per acre basis and based on 210 acres.10% of the bid price will be due at the conclusion of the sale with the balance due within 30 days and upon delivery of a Warranty Deed. Title Insurance will be provided by the seller. The 2020 real estate taxes, due in 2021 will be paid by the seller. The successful bidder will be required to enter into a written contract with the seller on sale day.
